Catching Up...

We went to Galveston to have lunch at Landry's on the Seawall to celebrate Father's Day and my mom's 50th Birthday. We went to the early service at church and then started making our way to Galveston. We had lunch on the patio. It was a little hot, but it was nice because we were able to visit and not worry about disturbing anyone. After lunch, we went next door to the Rainforest Cafe and rode the Rainforest River Ride. For those of you who remember Astroworld, it was kind of like Thunder River without getting wet. There were a lot of mechanical animals and "rainforest-y" sounds. After that, it was time to head back home. Emma had had enough excitement for the day. Enjoy some pictures...

We tried Emma's ladybug floaty out for her first dip in the pool. Let me tell you...It was COLD! Grammy and Pops' pool takes a lot of sun to heat up to a comfortable swimming temperature. So, we didn't stay in long. Just long enough for some pictures and a home video. Emma and I tried again a few weeks later and it was much better. She floated around with me and was very relaxed in the pool. She likes being in the water and I look forward to many more swimming days with her. And now for some pictures...
