Monday

Monday – We arrived in Cozumel. We decided to go on the Playa Mia Beach Break Deluxe excursion. We docked around 8ish and got off the boat and made our way to the end of the pier to check in for our excursion. We had a few minutes before the bus left for the beach, so we went to Del Sol. It was a neat store and we found a few things there. Everything in the store is made to change to color in the sun (really neat stuff). We got on the bus around 9:45 and left around 10:00 for Playa Mia Beach.

It was tons of FUN! Emma really enjoyed the ocean and we did too. It was so nice because all we have at home is the dirty gulf, so it was nice to see blue water that was clear enough to see through. So, we played in the water for a little bit before eating lunch. Since it was a buffet, there were never really any crowds and people just came and went at their leisure. After lunch, we went to a couple of the little shops that were there (there weren’t that many there). So, we made our way back to the beach. I stayed on the beach and enjoyed a strawberry margarita while Cliff and Emma got back in the water.

Emma was splashing around and having a great time. She started getting a little sleepy, so she came out and sat with me for a little bit while Cliff went back in the water for a few more minutes.

After Cliff was done hanging out in the ocean, we sat around and dried off to get ready to head back to the pier. While we were drying off, Emma wanted my drink but I couldn’t give it to her. So, Cliff went and got himself a pina colada and Emma a virgin strawberry daiquiri, which she LOVED!

We got back on the bus around 2:45 and made our way back to the pier. We stopped in a couple more shops on the pier and then headed back to the boat.

We boarded the ship and started getting cleaned up for dinner. For tonight’s dinner, I had the Fried Mozzarella and Sweet and Sour Shrimp, Emma had the Fresh Fruit and Turkey, and Cliff had a Caesar Salad and Jerk Pork Tenderloin. For dessert, Cliff had the Chocolate Molten Cake AGAIN, Emma ate a little bit of Cliff’s Ice Cream, and I had the Tiramisu. Everything was so YUMMY!

We went and took a picture at one of the backdrops they had set up and then headed back to the room to get some comfy clothes on. After we changed, we headed out to roam the decks. It was soooo windy on the top decks, but we wanted to take a few pictures. Cliff had mentioned that it was even windier the first night, but he said it was amazing because you could see almost every star in the sky.

Unfortunately, tonight it must have been a little cloudy because you could not see any stars. We will try to go out after dinner again tomorrow for more pictures if Emma isn’t too tired. So, we came back to the room to get ready for bed. Emma fell asleep while we were watched UP and I worked on our blog entry for the night. The movie is over now, so we are going to sleep. Goodnight…
