Thursday

Thursday – we arrived back in Galveston and waited to disembark the ship. We left our room around 8:30 and went to have breakfast in the dining room. Then, we just waited around until they called our floor to exit the ship. It took a little while to get off the boat and make our way through customs. The bus was ready and waiting to take us back to the Fraser’s. The bus ride back was much quieter than the bus ride to Galveston. Most people were tired and napping. All in all it was a wonderful trip. I was a little nervous in the beginning since this was our first big trip alone as a family. But we survived and I think it was mostly a success. Emma was very well behaved and everyone was very complimentary of how well behaved she was. We can’t wait to go again, although next time we would like to take a different ship from the Carnival Fleet…
